Glasgow (H) vs Edinburgh(A)

It’s the only show in town this week and it looks to be an interesting proposition. A win for Edinburgh would allow them to keep pace with Strathclyde, relegated to second place only by their less healthy goal difference than the league leaders. Glasgow remain enigmatic, having only played one BUCS Fixture so far this season. We can confirm that Joel Terry has been available for every cancelled fixture and now feels the Scottish weather is mounting a smear campaign against him.

Both teams performed well last weekend at University Indoor Nationals where they met in the quarter finals. Glasgow emerged victorious but Edinburgh showed a lot of resilience to fight back in the later stages of the game to take the score to within 1. Was that a tantalising appetiser for tomorrow’s match, or will the extra time to adjust strategy and the depth of each squad being brought into the equation serve to widen the gap?
